Well, I'm pretty much done with the boat. I used the cleaner to both clean and etch for paint. Polished the part above the rub strip and then sealed the whole boat. I'm very happy with how it turned out. It was my great grandfather's boat originally, then my Grandpa's and now my dad's.
Being a boat older that 50 years, the aluminum was brown and pitted. Looking into the polished side of the boat, now, I could use it as a mirror to shave in at fish camp.
